This specialist unit from Skye Instruments can be used in conjunction with a bat detector to count bats.

When connected to the recording output socket of the bat detector, it will accept the audio signal and increment a counter each time a discrete sound burst is detected. The counter unit has a threshold setting for strength or intensity and will count each bat call above this level.

A datalogger can also be connected to the bat counter to record bat activity over a period of time.

Note: Connecting plugs provided but these must be connected to a cable (not supplied)
