We will ask you for the CVV or CSC code of your card. In the case of VISA, VISA Debit, Mastercard, and Switch/Maestro, this code is printed on the back of your card, and consists of three digits in or near the signature field; or, in the case of American Express, the CVV code consists of four digits printed on the front of your card above the card number. This code is often required as added security for transactions where the cardholder is not present.

All charges to your card will be made in Pounds Sterling. If your card is issued by a bank outside the UK, your bank will calculate the exchange rate, and you may be charged a foreign transaction fee. Please contact your card issuer for more information.

Alana Ecology will not charge your card until your order is ready for dispatch. Please contact Customer Services if you have open orders and your card number or expiry date has changed.

If you wish to pay in cash with Pounds Sterling (GB£), US Dollars (US$) or Euro (€), please send by registered post. Alana Ecology does not accept responsibility for money lost in transit.

Occasionally, credit/debit cards are not authorised by the online banking system. A card may have expired, have insufficient funds available, you may have accidentally entered incorrect card details, or the card details may not match the invoice address given. Please check the card details carefully, then check with your card issuer. If they cannot find a problem with the card, please Contact Us or choose another payment method.
