From the 1st September 2011 Alana Ecology is part of NHBS - Everything for wildlife, science and environment (www.nhbs.com). The transition from Alana's warehouse in Shropshire is complete and all customer service and stock is now managed from one large warehouse location in Totnes, Devon.

We are committed to providing the best service we possibly can and making continual improvements to our website and the service we offer. We welcome your opinions about any aspect of Alana Ecology products, website, or customer service. We value your comments - please let us know if there is anything you think we could do better.

When can I expect my order?

Your order will be despatched as soon as possible. Delivery times are usually a few days, but will vary depending on stock levels and whether the product has to be specially ordered. What product support do you provide?

Our company background in consultancy and practical ecology work gives us a sound knowledgeable basis for our Technical Support service. We are committed to being honest and practical in the advice we give, and we always aim to recommend the most product or service most appropriate for your needs. If this is something we can’t supply ourselves we will try to find or recommend an alternative supplier for you.

What if I can't find what I'm looking for?

If you are looking for a specific item, please contact Technical Support and we will do our best to get it for you. We often source hard-to-find items for customers.

We are always looking to improve and expand our range and welcome your suggestions for new products. Please contact Technical Support with any comments, or suggestions for our product range.

Do you accept purchase orders?

We accept official purchase orders from companies and organisations who have a credit account with us. Find out more on the B2B page.

Do you have a shop?

We don’t have a retail outlet as such, but if you would like to examine a product before purchase you are welcome to visit us in Totnes, Devon. Please telephone or email before you visit to ensure the item is in stock.

Do you offer a guarantee?

Yes, we guarantee all our products for one year, in addition to any manufacturer's guarantee. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Do you offer a repair service?

We will do our best to help you with any problem you may have with any product purchased from us.

How secure is your website?

Alanaecology.com uses industry-standard SSL encryption and a separate payment provider to ensure your details are kept secure.

Why can't I place my order online?

If you experience difficulties placing an order via the online checkout please contact us and we will try to resolve it as soon as possible. Alternatively, please telephone +44 (0)1803 865913 to place your order.

What do I do if I find a broken link?

Please let us know about any broken links and we will fix them as soon as possible.

What is your complaints procedure?

We want you to be absolutely happy with any purchases and the service you receive from us. If you experience any difficulty or problem, we would like to hear about it so we can improve the service we offer.

If you’re not satisfied with the service you receive for any reason, please contact sales with details of the problem.

We undertake to deal with your complaint fairly, effectively and confidentially. We will acknowledge your complaint within three days and provide a likely timescale for resolving it, and keep you updated on progress made. We hope that any complaint you have will be easily resolved.
