About Alana EcologyAlana Ecology began life in 1996 in the heart of the Shropshire countryside. Initially a small ecological consultancy, 14 years on we have built the business to become one of the leading suppliers of environmental research and monitoring equipment. Our extensive range of around 3000 products appeals to naturalists, scientists, country parks, schools and universities but many products have a wider appeal so we also have many home-based customers.We have also published a number of books under the imprint Alana Books, including the most comprehensive review ever published on horseshoe bats.In January 2010 we launched a new division dedicated to Wildlife Telemetry.
